ygg

v0.3 · open source

A Rust coding agent for macOS and Linux. Connect directly to a local OpenAI-compatible server or a supported cloud provider; keep configuration, context files, extensions, and branchable sessions on your machine.

git clone https://github.com/skaft-software/ygg.git

hlid

the model gate

One self-hosted endpoint across local and cloud models. Route by model name, translate only when dialects differ, observe every request, and keep backend credentials away from agents.

docker run -p 8080:8080 -v ./hlid.toml:/app/hlid.toml ghcr.io/skaft-software/hlid:latest

Local

type system · pre-alpha 0.52

Grotesk for clear everyday reading. Mono for code and terminals. Two variable families with a shared voice, drawn for long sessions and unmistakable forms.

Own the means to create

Skaft is a small independent software workshop. Ygg, hlid, and Local are its current public projects; the software remains pre-1.0.

The design preference is explicit control: direct model connections, local configuration and session files, visible context layers, and tools people can inspect and keep.

Other prototypes stay off the install path until their source, packages, and documentation can be released together.
